Mindfulness mystics got it all wrong.
The human brain kicks on automation and habits.
So that we all have just enough time to focus on what requires our undivided attention.
And we still find time to rest and sleep as well.
But mindfulness mystics let you focus on the mundane.
They claim that THEY feel much happier because of their mindfulness sessions.
Others even tell them that THEY seem to look so much happier than before.
In their heart – deep down – do these people really care for others?
Is there any karuña – compassion – to be witnessed?
All they do is chatter on about themselves.
Sometimes it has even turned into an alternative form of wicca – witches with beatic smiles on their faces, 1970’s Bilitis but with old hags instead of young virgins, and fortunately also with their cloths on instead of off.
Zen is something completely different.
I rest my case.
